I guess that I should say that I finally got him all done. I wanted to learn how to do the Taxi on him. So this is my first Archery Buck and also my first Muley mount. Hopefully many more to come!:) First here is the link to my privious post.

MH,

I have to admit you did pretty good! Better than many of the experts around here!

Good job!

Not bad for your first try. It looks like you still have some painting to do. Good Luck!

Great buck! I usually don't prefer velvet bucks be he is beautiful. I like the relief of the shoulder - it gives him movement. Cool mount.

I guess if you posted it here you're looking for honest feedback. I don't like the "lazy eye" if you intended on doing it that way. The eyes in my opinion make or break a great mount. Overall it looks good.

NICE BUCK! I love those kind of mounts. how they are turned to the side like that!

I got prerotated eyes and wish that I hadn't. I painted the eye on the left and wish that I didn't. So can someone who does this full time let me know where I messed up on the eyes? I'm thinking that I need to rotate one 180 degrees? Don't worry about offending me I know that it is my first one and would like the feed back to do better on my next one.
