Washington LT Murry tags

Does anyone here in WA state know how the LT Murry tag (Manashtash and Tanumn rut hunt) went? I would think there should have been one or two bruisers taken as it had never been hunted during the rut since the 70's???? How is the winter treating the Deer and Elk that winter around Ellensberg????

The deer in the area between Yakima and Ellensburg have been hit with a new parasite this year that has decimated them. They've lost over 50% of some herds. It is a lice similar to the one that causes hair loss syndrome in that they scratch hair off and freeze to death. With the cold winter, it doesn't look good.

I have hunted both of those areas . This is the first I have heard of a parasite problem .Very disconcerting.
