here is my first colorado mulie. i was hunting around the town of bailey. i had a hard time finding public land with deer on it and another problem was all the private land that was surrounding the public land. i decided i better do some hiking to find some deer. i hiked straight up hill for about an hour and came out to a bench. what i found was like a deer zoo! they were everywhere i missed a nice 4 point buck the first afternoon. i headed back up to the same spot the next morning, i saw about 15 small bucks. i continued side hilling and came across this buck and made a 100 yard off hand shot with my browning a-bolt 270. what a memory this trip has given me!
