LAST EDITED ON Nov-22-11 AT 01:13PM (MST)[p]I am looking for any info on where to hunt for the Extended Wasatch Archery Elk. I am new to the area and cant seem to find any Elk. Any help would be great. Thanks

I Heard that there was a big heard up on the Face of Lambs Canyon, up parleys canyon. I wasn't able to locate them last weekend, but i am going to hit it again this weekend.

Ask nv_hunter.. he might have a spot where you can shoot one, look for 13 seconds and then shoot another one....oh wait you asked about elk, never mind.

Waste of time too many people my recommendation is buy a swarovski spotting scope find some bulls go after em just in time for some one else to come right up an open hillside and end it for ya.

I have a better idea. Leave the Swaro at home, buy some Lowas and go find some elk that a million other dudes arent looking at from I80.

How many elk on the front have you killed with the lowas. And yes I 80 is overated but there are no hidden unpressured elk on the front I agree some herds get alot more pressure than others. Swaro spotting scopes are definatly worth every penny and I pack mine everytime.

I think it goes clear up to ogden on the elk as well but not 100 sure I don't hunt up in the northern part of the unit.
