I'm new to this site and hopefully you guys can help me out. I would like to send my Dad on a top notch mule deer hunt. He is 75 years old but in top shape. He has never hunted for anything but whitetails. He told my 15 year old son that he sure would like to go out west and hunt mule deer before he got too old. So if you have any suggestions for great guides in Canada or the west please let me know.

Thanks

Lost Creek Outfitters...Alberta Canada. I went a couple years ago. I Got a nice muley and a really nice whitey. I coulda done better on my muley but I pulled the trigger too early. I guess it kinda depends on what kind of hunt you are looking for. Wilderness? Private property? truck or horses? On foot? I give you this one because it was a very easy hunt and we saw tons of huge bucks. All on farm land and coulees. Not alot of hard climbing. I prefer wilderness hunts myself, but if I was 75 I'd go again. You can find my story in the archives somewhere.

The amount of money you are willing to spend will determine most of the suggestions your going to get on this site. FWIW, Drummond would be at the top of my list of people to contact about a great hunt. Having hunted with him in the past I can tell you he is well worth the money as a guide. You may contact him as to where he is hunting these days, and available dates...................rf

If you interested in Utah give this guys a shot, they run a clean camp on private lands that have guarnteed tags for some pretty decent mulies, many of the ranches are easily accessible.
