need deer mount help!

My dad shot a buck last year and is getting it mounted. So I was hoping you guys could post some pics of your favorite shoulder mounts. He has to decide what pose he wants. Thanks

Do a search for "mount" in the mule deer section. There's a BUNCH of mount pictures posted, including several threads about exactly what you're asking.

Hi David. I emailed you a couple of pics. I really like the semi-sneak. The first buck I posted a while back. So I won't bore everyone. I havn't decided whether or not to post the second buck yet. I just got him back from the taxi and with all of the expert scorers here on MM I don't want him to end up a dink. Haha. Take er easy.

Put him in the same position as when he was shot or some other pose from the hunt. A good taxidermist will modify or adjust a stock form if needed. Also you can look at the forms they intend to use. Some forms have more features and little details molded in then other. Kind of a nice reminder to have it in a pose that reminds you of the hunt.

Hey Huff, I dont have any pics, but take a look at some relaxed poses. I think they look good, especially if you end up killing a few more to stick next to him.
