southern oregon owohye and whitehorse archery

if im reading the oregon regs right i can buy non resident archery tag over the counter in these areas anyone know if thats the way it works i hunt yotes and chukar just below that area in nevada and see some bucks up there so id love to hunt it every year if thats the case

Yes that is a general Buck Deer Archery Tag. You can buy the tag over the counter. It is good for the entire state plus you get late seasons during the rut for Blacktails if need be. Only areas off limits are the Owyhee which is LE, Trout Creeks which is Traditional. Starkey Exp. Forest, Hart Mountain and a few other areas.

If you are willing to talk a bit, send me an e-mail. I am trying to get a better idea of the deer hunt. Want some idea of top quality in the area(don't want to blow it on a dink..I usually hunt chuks in the rosas and jacksons.
