Email new record Mexico Buck

here we go again, I recieve an email with this buck listed as the pending new world record.

I checked the B&C trophy watch and there no mention of him. I havent seen any posts here with this buck either.

Does anybody know what the story with this deer is?

What a hog but I dont know if it is big enough to be the new record.

Wide ,mass, but it doesnt have huge tines.

That is Jason Grisi's buck from a few years ago. It has been covered on there a lot as well as an artical in Muley Crazy. It is a great buck.

It's over 200 - but not a World Record. Great story though. I think it was a 2005 buck.

The buck grossed 227 and neted 221 and is the SCI world record, and was killed january 2005. And it is a monster.

Genetics undoubtedly play a big roll in them deer but wonder about food source, something must have a lot of minerals 'eh?

Jason Gisi was hunting in Mexico last season and hit the Mother Lode. This gorgeous typical is one of the largest deer ever taken in Mexico. The buck has been officially scored at approximately 206 by Jay Gates, but has not been entered. Congratulations to Jason on taking a trophy most people only dream of.
