Orem SFW Banquet

I attended the SFW banquet on Saturday night in Orem. Overall, it was a good event. There were some good tags, the food was decent and the volunteers did a great job. However, I did notice that there were a lot less people than two years ago, the last time I attended the event. Why the change? I think this was SFW's big banquet this year but there were definitely less people. Perhaps the tags were not as attractive (they did not have the state-wide deer or elk). Maybe there is increased competition from the MDF and RMEF? Any ideas or explanations?

Thanks for coming to the big event. We had about 920 people this year. Last year it was about 1100. I know some people spent thier $ at the big show. Over all we where very pleased with the turnout. It is March 15 next year. We have some changes planned. Stay tuned. Thanks to everyone that attended. John Bair

I agree with 10r. I went to the big expo this year so I couldn't make the Orem banquet.
