Schmalts, That's because you decided to shoot your bull down in the wasteland of the Pahvant. If you would have stayed up high where we talked about, you would have had plenty of water
I shot my bull down in the very bottom of a very, very, very steep canyon. If it weren't for the gushing springs all over that area, I would have probably died in there. That is steep country getting in shape is critical.

Both the Southern end and Northern end can both be great. The terrain is much more forgiving down South, but because of that there are more people. All the guides tend to hunt down there because the clients are usually fat or old dudes. having said that there are also some dang good bulls taken down there every year.
I personally like the Northern stuff. It's absolutely gorgeous up there and there are plenty of bulls as well. You can see my hunt in the 2010 hunt challenge forum, there are a bunch of pics in there.
