Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kurghistan...well all the "stans" for that matter are real back country hunting experiences!
It's hard to slog through a foot of snow at 16000' elevation! Great hunting though.
I admire the people who can make a living in any of those countries by any legal means. Fun Countries to visit but I wouldn't want to live there!

While stationed in Germany I was fortunate enough get my German hunting license and hunt multiple species with some GREAT folks. I also was able to travel to Kazakhstan and was in awe with the size of their mountains. Got out of the Army and moved to Utah so I could hunt elk! Have been loving it every since. I'm glad I'm struggling for breath in these mountains cause I not sure I could make it in those mountains!
