I lucked out and drew a 5B archery elk tag. I want to go early and hunt mule deer and scout prior to the opening. I know 5B north is not noted for good deer but would appreciate any comments on deer numbers, any good bucks, what would be the best method to take a buck? Set water, tree stand? Any help would be appreciated.
