mt deer tag ?????

i got a letter about a deer tag since i didnt draw one, it said they have 1354 of these tags, they drew 2000 unsucsessful applicants out of the first draw, first come first served . any way if i get one of these tags does anyone know if i can apply for the controlled hunts if i apply by june 1st?

don't know about the controlled hunt, but i was glad to see my leftover tag notice in the mail as well. priority mailed it this morning. hope to get it and also a tag next year with my 2 bonus points.

Yes you can...I did the same thing two yrs ago...get your check in the mail and your app in ASAP!
