Oregon Results?

You get to wait another Month. The results will be available on the 20th of June. The waiting game has begun good luck in the draw.

I still check mine every day!!! Last year I did the same and my results were there two weeks before everyone else. SO cross your fingers and keep checking!

The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission doesn't set the number of tags for each controlled hunt until June 8, so nothing will happen until then.

I used to feel the same way but I figured out how to relax, hunt some other states. Oregon's draw seems rather blah after that, I'd wig out if I got my sheep tag but other than that it's just kind of......whatever.

if you don't mind what area did you apply for sheep in Hunt?...i wanna know how much compitition i have this year...LOL

East John Day river # 1, the only better hunt in the state is Hurricane Divide but the odds on that one are even more unreal.

Yep Oregon is kind of boring even if i did draw except for muleys. I horn hunt an area that i see some pigs in. Hope to draw a tag someday. Here in my home state of Idaho is what i really want. But i have not drawn a good tag for 14 years. Man i wish we had a point system.

Except for last year, I've applied for the Hurricane Divide since 1992, and still feel this is the best Sheep hunt in the state. Year and year they pickup skulls that surpass the 190+ mark, so you know the big guys are to still out their. Drawing odds for the Hurricane Divide have always been dismal, but drawing that tag would be a once in lifetime experience.

Are there any NR tags availble for the Hurricane Divide Sheep hunt? I to can't wait to see the Or. results. Hopefully me and the ol man drew Elk and I'm hoping I drew a Lope tag. I know, I know wishfull thinking but that is what this time of year is all about. To me it's better then X-mas and your B-day all wrapped into one. You just can't beat this time of the year.

Slide,
Oregon offers no opportunity for NR's for the Hurricane Divide. The only NR opportunity for Rocky Mountain Bighorn is for the Snake River unit. The rest of the tags are aloted for the California Bighorn sheep, which their is a few more tags given to NR's in.

A non res can hunt Hurricane if they are lucky enough to win the raffle tag or have enough money to Buy the auction tag.But, most auction hunters have been looking for big cali's the last few years.

Yes, any unit with a season. better have a big lucky rabbit's foot to win the raffle, or deep pockets to buy the auction tag though.

Not everyone is lucky enough to pull two sheep raffles in one year, man the planets must have been inline for you that year. Kidding aside, that was one hell of a Rocky Mountain Bighorn you killed that year, still enjoy reading the story of your trip and the pics. I still say that would be the ultimate sheep hunt anywhere. The Oregon drawing is still a little less than a month away, and still have that small glimmer of hope I will draw. Best of luck to all of you on the draw. Jeff

I don't buy the sheep raffles and NO I don't have deep pockets, heck I don't even have pockets. I did buy some Muley raffle tickets, sure would like to win that tag.
