Lets hear about all your wolf sightings.... I have seen what I thought was a wolf by Stoddard which is by Morgan but I spend alot of time down by Fishlake and Ive heard of sightings down there.

4 wolves were spotten and identified in Missouri last week. They are movin east.

ok smart ass it was supposed to read "wolf".....blows my f----g mind that regaurdless of what the post is about you have jackweeds talking ##### just to stir the pot....if your on this site to talk about hunting of any kind stay here...if not get the HELL off!

Its "talking ####" not "talking #####".
Also, its "you're" not "your".
Your (not you're) punctuation is atrocious.
Capitilization needs some work as well.
Sentence structure is also suffering.

That ain't a camel toe, that's a moose knuckle!

Idabow, Point made. A point made by many others from time to time. Back off unless you provide some insight to the current topic. Besides your condescending attitude that is. Structured enough? mtmuley

I saw a wolf in the cross hairs of my scope once.

And, I'm not a genius, but some of the posts on this site are damn near impossible to decifer, due to horrific spelling and grammar.

Some of the posts here from time to time are hard to decipher even when posted with stellar grammar and spelling. What the Hell good does it do to attack a guy trying to make a point or ask a question? I've been guilty of it myself in the 10 or 11 years I've been a member. Finally figured out it really don't matter. Excuse me, "does not" matter. mtmuley

I'm with monstermuleyhunter on this one. This place is just Chock full O' Pricks!!
The primary reason I rarely post here anymore.

Hey EVILNR; that last sentence isn't a sentence, LOL!!! It's great to know what you think of most of us and most probably don't give a rip!

LAST EDITED ON Aug-08-12 AT 07:26AM (MST)[p]Look - I am as much of a grammar policeman as anyone else on here. Sometimes it is all I can to do keep from pulling out my "red pen" and going all Professor Roy on some of these posts, but for the most part I refrain from it because most of the information is correct and I don't want it to get in the way of the message being shared.

But in this case, 2Feathers - though he may be a troll - has a very valid point. I mean, come on, it is a very easy word. WOLF is singular, WOLVES is plural. This is 2nd grade stuff and when we don't take any care, or just a few more seconds to correct ourselves and verify simple spelling mistakes like this, it makes us look like the very backwoods, uneducated, uninformed, second-cousin marrying, road-kill eating, possum-skinning, bucktoothed, meth-head, moonshining rednecks the leftist anti-hunting, anti-gun, crowd is accusing us of being.

Yes, characters like 2Feathers should stop being trolls, but then again, they are only trolls because we give them reasons to so be.

Roy---That's one reason you see so many of my posts edited. I try to go over them before I put them up, but if I see a word that I goofed on I go in and change it to what it should be. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation were drummed into me through all 12 years in the Catholic school system and I really wonder where some people posting went to school or what grade they made it through. When you see posts that look like a third grader wrote them, it's really hard for me to take that person seriously a good share of the time.

To answer the question, I'm sure I saw a wolf near Malad Idaho last weekend. It was near Deep Creek Reservoir. At first I though it was a big german shephard from a distance, but when it saw us, it took off up the canyon. Its prints were twice the size of any german shephard I have ever seen. Plus it moved out faster than lightning. It took off and never looked back. When I saw it, I felt chills go up my spine. Kind of eerie.

I hate arrogant people that get their (correct usage) kicks by belittling others. My grammar isn't perfect either and I'd take offense to some jerk off correcting me and completely missing the point I was trying to express. Its rude and inconsiderate. Part of the reason I like hunting and fishing is because most of the people I meet in both sports are great down to earth people. If your reading and all your looking for is a missing comma, maybe your the one missing something. Just my 2 cents

"If your reading and all your looking for is a missing comma, maybe your the one missing something. Just my 2 cents"

I don't believe anyone mentioned a missing comma or two! However, when I try to read a 250 word post someone puts up with no periods or capital letters to break the thing up, it's rather hard to even figure out what they're trying to say. However, I just blow it off and go on with no comment because it probably wouldn't do any good trying to tell an adult on here how to write anyway!

It was close to the boat ramp on Deep Creek. We arrived around 6am and as we rounded the hill to go over the dam, I noticed something drinking next to the bank just south of the boat ramp.
It was huge and I knew it was not a coyote. Its prints were in the mud on the water's edge.

I has scene some woofs up buy Idaho boarder in Box Elder a cuuple years agone.

My wives dad saw one down in Nine Mile Canyon about 2 years ago two. They is hear thays fore shore!

I've never seen one in Utah, but heard what I thought were wolves up Monte Christo, and know for a fact that one was trapped about a month ago near Echo.

For the record I dont care if a bunch of dudes care how my grammer or spelling is. The point I was making is simply this....THIS IS MONSTERMULEYS.COM and certainly not critiqueme.com.....If you want to put you obsessive compulsive order to the test then do so elsewhere. I will be the first to admit that certain posts are tough to read however its honestly never crossed my mind to correct someones grammer or punctuation. Come one guys get a life

Yeah sorry about that. I just couldn't help myself on this one. The grammar police hit it pretty hard and I thought that was funny, because your original post is fine. Let's face it, everyone knew exactly what you were talking about. Good luck on your hunts.

I apologize too monstermuleyhunter.

Your topic is actually a very good one. Wolves will be spreading at an alarming rate IMO. Not much we can do about it either.

Thanks for the Deep Creek/ Malad, Idaho info....

That is like way close to where everyone travels day-in--day out!

Good for you.

Wolfs or wolves, ok I get it. Got my masters from a top 20 business school, but not a grammar cop. Referring to one of the previous posts, maybe we should change this sites nickname from utard.com to monsterpricks.com.......................

Sorry that everyone got mad. I thought it was funny that someone corrected OP, he responded with an even worse post, driving home the point.

Regardless, wolves are moving. I live in SW Idaho. There is a very small population here. There have been wolves sighted in Owyhee county (directly north of the Nevada border), for several years now. They haven't really taken hold here, but they are coming. We've seen wolves in other units that we hunted last year, where they never were before. All states in the NW have wolves. In a few years, all the western states will have wolves.

There is nothing that anyone can do to stop them, short of a multi-billion dollar, multi-state and government driven eradication effort. We may be able to keep them somewhat in check, but we will never get rid of them.

Wolves are smart. They can be hunted, trapped and shot from planes/helicoptors, but without the use of poison, they will not be stopped. Without the approval of the government, which we will never get, they will not be stopped.

That ain't a camel toe, that's a moose knuckle!

I can't remember the last time I read a post where a hunter admitted we cannot do anything about the wolves. Most guys puff up their chest and figure they can shoot their way out of this mess. Ain't happening. I totally agree Idabow. (I do know ain't ain't a word) mtmuley

My dad and my son saw one near the Utah/Wyoming border...south of Rock Springs- in Wyoming- but just by a few miles- while antelope hunting several years ago. My son was amazed. Said it was HUGE and definitely not a big coyote. It was a big black one. That's pretty close to the 3 corners area and Flaming Gorge.

Roy,

Not trying to start anything but you better read over this sentence in your post before you call anyone out on their grammer.....

Not the best pic what do you guy's think. I have never seen a dog this big. Shot him up by monte two year's ago. Do you think it could be a mix with a wolf? He had a huge head, body, feet.
