I have video of him from 2 weeks ago but it was pretty shaky. Now what do you think for score? I think he may be a little bigger than I originally thought? What about the 5x6? He wont score very well but he looks pretty good. Less than a week now, im getting excited!

Thanks for looking!

The 5x6 probably scores around 330" while the 6x7 somewhere around 370". Both are good looking bulls. Good luck.

310 on the 5x6 and 355 on the 6x7 would be my guesses.

Cool pics!! I think we have the same tag. 6/7 looks mid 340s, maybe a touch over 350. That 5/6 is a cool bull. If we have the same tag I was on that unit last year. What a great hunt!

I think I recognize that place. Ate lunch there and made phone calls many times if it's where I'm thinking. Good luck on the hunt.

It could be the place your thinking of, it is a pretty good distance from the road. People say the say the bulls will leave there about a week in but i hope to be done before that.

I gotta disagree with eldorado. that 6x7 is a very young bull. He has very little mass and very short beams. His beams will probably measure 48" and inside spread is somewhere around 36". he's got decent fronts and awesome 3rds and swords and average tops. I would put him around 330 and the 5x just a little larger. I'm all about older bulls and I think its friggin cool as heck when you outsmart an old bull whos got past so many hunters for so many years. I personally think that 5x is an unbelievable trophy and find those wide heavy bulls hard to pass. He also has a much better front end and beams that are going to puch his score past the 6x7. beams go a long way in adding up score. Maybe i'm wrong but that 5x just does it for me.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-14-12 AT 09:09AM (MST)[p]I think that 5x6 would score a little better to be honest with you. He has a longer main beam on both sides, and width is better. All of his points look to have better then average length, while the 6x7 looks pretty average on length over all.

6x7 is 320
5x6 is more like 330

I think, but could be wrong.

Just wondered why you didn't mention the strraight up 6 point on the 2nd picture? He looks pretty good too.

I agree with pookiebar....let one fly on the 5 point....I'm not with the rest of you on scoring....I dont think they either are touching 350 but who am I to say im just a moron with poor grammer!

I came up with 330-335 on the 6x7 and 325-330 on the 5x6 both awesome bulls though.

I don't know where you guys are getting these low scores, but I get him at 358.

G1 - 16
G2 - 18
G3 - 19
G4 - 20
G5 - 11
MB - 49
Mass - 27
Spread 38

That 5 point is awesome but you lose a lot in score not having that fifth and I think his main beams are shorter that they look. I could be wrong but I would put him in the 320s.

On the 6x7 I don't see his fourths going much over 16 and his his fifths are closer to 7. Low 340s IMO.

Beautiful bulls!

The mountains, not the hills.

Score dont mean jack #####. Sorry but to many people love score. That 5x6 is a helluva lot cooler bull than the other. he would be on the ground over any of them bulls if it were me
