Just got a call from a family member up in the Vernal area, and he has a 5x5 on the ground. It's that time of year! Anybody else getting into the bulls?

Need pictures....

No bulls hitting the ground om my end for the wasatch way hot and i dont see any sign of the rut anytime soon.

Doesn't need to be ruttin to kill big bulls. I know of a 340 killed in diamond fork and a 373 killed on an open bull unit.
If its hot sit water. Had two 330+ bulls under my stand for 25 minutes on Wednesday on the Wasatch.

Coyote, are you sitting one consistently? I'd love to share my spot but it was my buddy that took me to it and shared with me. I'd have to ask him before I brought anyone in to it. There are four big bulls 320-350" coming in every 3-4 days on our stand. Put a camera on your stand for a few days or sit it all day. We are getting hit around 1:30, 2:30, and not agin til about 6:00. After that it's been a steady flow of elk til way after dark. With the full moon coming on the days are always better In my experience. Good luck!

Is he about 6'7" or so? There was a guy about that tall with a white truck who shot a 5 point up by where I hunt on opening evening. I am wondering if it is the same guy and if he found it?
