I'd agree with the 310-320 range. Last year I got in on a bull I would gladly have put an arrow into. I got close twice but could never seal the deal. He was a beautiful, wide, symetrical 7X7. He just didn't have any length in any of his tines. Looked like a 10" picket fence. Back at camp, I put a pencil to it and came up with 330 and couldn't make him any bigger no matter how hard I tried. The unit I was in is known for producing good bulls (usually a couple over 400 each year) and I passed on 300" bulls every day. I set my goal at 340, but as I said earlier, I would've gladly taken that 330 bull. Score isn't everything.
