I am heading there on saturday for a week,any body have any suggestions on a place to spend a day looking for deer.I am going there for my girlfriends family reunion and I am going to need a break about mid week.

Drive a hour south you will be in the strip area. Fielids around Parwon in the evening is pretty good.

Drive up to Pine Valley or Pinto (or Pinto via one of the dirt roads right before Pine Valley) and have a look around, you might see a few deer and probably some turkeys too. Right now if I needed to kill some time near St. George I would be bass fishing at Sand Hollow, Quail Creek, or Gunlock.

Anywhere to get out of the heat! It's a little toasty right now.....and it's only 8:53 am. It's going to get up to 106* today. I plan on going and looking for critters Satuday morning. It will be an early one to try to beat the heat! Pine Valley is always an okay place to look. You can get to Pinto from Pine Valley. I have never have taken that road myself, but I might this weekend. Good luck!
