Colorado tag refund

I apologize if this is a dumb question. Unfortunately, Colorado's website is down and I really want an answer.

Will Colorado provide a refund on a deer tag you already have if the season has not started. I have a GMU 12 archery tag that I drew with my second choice. I found out today that I drew an antelope hunt in California that burned all my points that is essentially the same dates. Anyway, if I have to eat the tag I will eat it. But if there is a chanced to recover some or all of that $300 I would like to.

YES..........You will have to get a request form from DOW as soon as you can. If the website is down, call 303-297-1192.
Try going to the website and look for a PDF file and bring up page 14, it will tell you what you need to do, good luck.
