I was fortunate to Kill a nice bull with my wasatch tag this year. I hunted hard for 20 straight days, even taking 2 weeks off work. It was hot, and dry. The bull's didn't want to talk too much, even the cow's where pretty quite. I hunted several places from Strawberry to A.F. canyon. It all came together for me on a wallow, that I have hunted for years. I feel very blessed to get this bull. Thanks to all those who helped.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-14-12 AT 06:28PM (MST)[p]Nice job. 20 days, that's a mental stain for sure. I find that 3-4 hard days at it start to wear me down. You will never forget that hunt for sure. Thanks for sharin.

"That's a special feeling, Lloyd"

Nice work Heater! Awesome bull. You earned it on a very tough year to be archery hunting elk. I knew you would stick with it and get it done. He will look sweet in your trophy room. Very few guys could stick it out for 20 days so you should be proud. Congrats again

That's a sweet bull Heat. Good job on sticking it out. Hard work does pay off.

Great job Brian! What a bull!! Those elk hunts can be tough when it's hot and dry and the elk arent vocal. 20 days hitting it hard is very impressive, and to kill a great Pope and Young bull like yours at the tail-end of the hunt is flat-out awesome. Way to stick it out....way to make the shot when the opportunity finally presented itself!!! Kudos bro! Kip

NICE !!! Looks like all that time and effort paid off BIG TIME.

Congrat's and thanks for Sharing the nice pics.

There's room for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potato's and gravy.

Thanks for all the compliments. I was getting pretty nervous. I thought I blew my chance the week before. I had a bull infront of me and I misranged him. I shot for 40, and he was probably around 50. I realized lated I ranged the bush infront of him. To top that off, my friend and I where sitting in a ground blind over a seep. I had parked my truck by a pond next to the road. After an hour or so of sitting, another hunter came up to our blind. He said that a big six point bull was drinking next to my truck. I didn't believe him until he showed my the picture he took. I feel very blessed to have harvested such a magnificent animal. Thanks again for the kind words.

The hard work was worth it. great bull, especially with stick and string. Congrats

That's a sweet bull! I had it in my hands shortly after the kill. I saw it in the parking lot of my office and had to take a look. Thanks for letting me look and touch the antlers.
CONGRATULATIONS MAN!
Zeke

Your determination sure paid off. That is a great looking bull. That third on the left side is killer.
