Looking into buying a landowner voucher for this area it would be a muzzleloader hunt just wondering if anyone has info on this area, just starting to research before I make a decision. voucher is only like 400 dollars. I would just like to find a unit that has good deer numbers not worried about killing a monster.

The 444 muzzleloader hunt went undersubscribed. The leftover list shows 28 available. If you are unable to apply for the leftovers, there could be some left for over-the-counter sale after the leftover draw.

It could be a good hunt. I'm sure there are a few big bucks hanging out in that unit.

Could someone help me out I screwed up and didn't get into the initial draw for colorado does that mean I can't apply for the leftover draw. Being from utah and not drawing a tag here, last year I just bought an over the counter tag in Colorado. I didn't even know there was such a thing as leftover draw. Where do you find the leftover list I looked on the fish and game web site and could not find it. Would be nice to see what units I might have a chance at buying over the counter before I look into landowner vouchers. Like I said just looking for a unit with good deer numbers not necessiarly a big buck unit.

You can't apply for the 2nd drawing unless you applied for the first. You will need to wait and see if the 444 muzzleloader is still undersubscribed after the 2nd drawing. My guess is, there will still be a handful of tags.

How can I see the leftover list? I got a tag, but have a couple buddies that would like one and I think there may still be tags for the unit I drew, but want to see.

Also, I have heard good things about 444 muzz.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-28-07 AT 05:59PM (MST)[p]They only send the 2nd drawing list to the folks who drew nothing in the first draw. And, you can only apply for the 2nd drawing if you applied in the first.
After then 2nd drawing, then they have a list of tags still available.

If there's a particular unit you are interested in, I will look at my list and see if it went undersubscribed in the 1st draw.
