WY Region M mule deer, 21 lopes

Hi all, my party and I drew muley tags in Wyoming Region M and antelope tags in unit 21. Anyone out there that can share a little hunting info on the areas? I've done a lot of calling and looking at maps but have never been there. We hunted region r a few years back but didn't get this far south. Thanks,

We hunted M (Unit 36) back in 1997 and out of a group of 9 guys we got 3 bucks, not that good. Two guys were throwing lead at a Big Buck I spooked out of his bed in the JP. We had access to a ranch (paid for the trespass) which turned out to be joke. Long story but never went back.
Dakota Kid who use to come aboard here knows that area and works int the same unit. It is a checker board area in parts.
Stay north I would think, don't know what it is like now.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going with a group of nine as well. I've been concentrating in the north and east portions of the region but like you say it's pretty broken with private land. I understand that the western portion is really pretty dry and hunting there isn't as good. Thanks again,

Region M has really gone down hill for muleys in the last ten years, which is probably why there are so many leftover tags remaining for the last four years or so.
