Sad ordeal for sure, not taking away from that aspect.

Don't we all hunt elk with a shotgun and a birddog! :)

One of my buddies was just "rodeo'd" and was thrown into an aspen log and spent several days in the hospital. He's lucky to be alive.

Sorry to hear about the hunter who didn't make it.

PS: The photo sums up what most of the media knows about hunting.
 
I did have a stalk I was making on a 330+ bull messed up this year by a guy hunting grouse. Oh well, public land.

Very sorry to hear about the hunter who was killed. Hopefully he didn't suffer for too long before passing. Condolences to his family.
