I'm taking my father (he's 71) to the Gunn basin in November and would appreciate any info someone would be willing to help with. Where to stay, where to look, Guide/no guide, watch out for stuff.....Thanks much. Open disc or PM.

If hunting north of Gunnison, look @ Three Rivers Resort in Almont. Pretty decent cabins, not bad priced if you make reservations a couple months in advance. Lots of hunters stay there, pretty good time when stayed.
