Colorado Deer tag return

Does anyone know the procedure for turning a second choice tag back in Colorado? I know that if you draw your first choice you can either get you money ($400) or your points back. We didn't use any points for a second choice hunt can we get our money back. Two of my close family member drew Arizona strip tags, We would like to be able to put all of our efforts in to those once-in-a-lifetime hunts. We have three 35 third season tags, Thanks for any information.

You should just be able to fill out the proper forms and send them in. Just follow the instructions on how to do it and you shouldnt have any problems.

I returned my 2nd choice tag last year. You get to keep all your points, including the 1 you earned this year. I think there is a $5 handeling fee or something. You can print the page off their website.
