Mt. Emily unit (oregon)

Hunting this unit this year for the first time. Going scouting in a couple weeks. Anyone have a opinion on which direction to go. Have some ideas, had a friend hunt it last year. Just thought I would see if anyone had any opinions. Thanks

Summit road stay up high. The deer numbers in the last couple of years has really dropped off. There are some big bucks but they are few and far between. Good luck I will be up there trying to shoot a bear next week, I will let you know what I find.

thanks for the info. good luck bear hunting. Hunted wenaha Spring bear hunt. lots of bears. Thought maybe the same problem in mt emily, but going to give it a shot. I can send email if you want. then you can give me a shot when you get back with your bear.
