NE Oregon Mulies

hey all- i'm heading to NE Oregon's chesnimnus unit this fall to hunt for mulies. haven't been to the area for a few years, just wondering if anyone has any news on the deer herds in the area, specifically the chesnimnus/sled springs/snake river/imnaha units. i love this country in oregon and am really looking forward to the fall. anybody see any bucks down in the breaks hunting bears this spring? or anybody have reports form hunting deer or elk in this country the past few years? thanks.

Lots of elk and deer. You should get a decent forky in those area's unless you hunt the "straight up and down area's" in the snake!!! Those area's are pretty easy to draw for rifle deer, because the deer population isn't that good.

Which unit did you draw? Oh wait the Ches. It takes two points to draw that unit for deer. You would be better off paying some one around there to trespass their land and hunt. This unit get WAY over crowded with people, especially road hunters.
