Found Some Good Ones

LAST EDITED ON Jul-27-07 AT 08:43AM (MST)[p]I did some couting last night and saw a few potential shooters for the upcoming archery hunt. I saw two 4x4's that were both approximately 26" wide. I also saw a really nice 5x7 (plus eye guards) that was pushing 30". I took some pictures through my spotting scope but they did not turn out (low quality scope and low quality camera). I will do some more scouting and hopefully close the distance and get some pictures in the future.

How is your scouting going so far?

Sounds like some really nice bucks.
I haven't found anything huge yet but have seen 3 bucks I would have pulled the trigger on and at least a dozen that would have been very tempting. If I put in the time scouting over this next month maybe I'll get lucky and find a real monster to put my tag on.
