Got lucky extremly Lucky, some friends pointed me into the direction some public area down around the Vernal area and lets just say I ran into a once in a lifetime General Any Bull!!

I was driving up the road and a truck in front of me driving really slow stopped and turned around, I kept going and about 100 yards later started seeing elk tracks I followed them and this is what they led me to!

Awesome bull !!! That pic of the track in the road is a classic. You'll have to frame that and hang it under your bull when you get him back from the taxidermist.

Congrats,
Pete

Wow!
Great bull Kade.
Congratulations.
Now you just have to find a nice ram to go with it.
Hopefully we'll run into you this weekend.

Wow, that thing is a stud... I know how it feels to be the guy who turned around. About 15 years ago, my grandfather had a general season rifle elk tag. We hunted the Uintas for deer throughout the year, and new 2 places where the elk would cross a large dirt road most every day. These two spots were about a half a mile apart. We decided on opening morning to sit by one, and then drive to the other. There was snow so we knew we would be able to tell if the elk had crossed or not. After making one pass between the two locations, we came back to the first spot we had been sitting... Wouldn't you know it, there was a truck driving out into the small sage opening, and all we could see was big ivory horns layin out at about 200 yards. My grandfather used some colorful words (though not too colorful). We hadn't seen any other hunters for the days leading up to the hunt, and here was the bull we were waiting for, layin at some one else's feet...

A while later, as we sat at our number two spot, these guys drove by and we followed them a ways until they met up with a large outfit with horses at a trailhead. I'd say the bull was somewhere in the 330" range. I'd never seen such a big bull in my life. Sometimes, a little luck goes a long ways.

Congrats on a beautiful bull..!!
