Here is the Buck i took today about 3 miles in the backcountry, about a 2 1/2 hour stalk with a nice 62 yards shot with another 4 hour trackin job lead me to my prize 25in 3 Point. With the help of my Two buddies we got the job done on this bad boy.

Real nice buck!

Great tracking job and good on you for sticking with the tracking until ya recover him.

Nice G-1's too.

Nice one! Bucks like that get me chomping at the bit to get out there. Can't wait until next weekend!

Congrats. Nice buck and from what I've seen, you win the award for being first to post a muley in 07. Way to get things started.

Sounds like you've got a good team and have figured out the high country muleys. Good work... I'm sure you worked for it.

Quite the happy group there, Smiles all around. good buck and great persistence. Sometimes the best ones are the ones you have to work for. It is starting out to be a good year already good luck with the rest of it.

Congrats on an awesome buck. Nothing better than working hard, and making it happen.

Nice job, congratulations on a fine bow kill!

RE: I have it's twin living in my back yard

I was able to take the buck in Unit 111 in the eastern part of the state. On the Schell Creek Range, what a fun hunt i am a local of Ely so i grew up in the area but no matter how long you hunt the Schells it never gets any easier. wow learnin something new every year from that beautiful place.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-07-07 AT 10:46AM (MST)[p]HN,

Congrats on a fine archery buck!

I am from Chicago but was in your neck of the desert last year this time for an elk hunt. Ely is a nice little town and yes the mountains were very scenic. You are lucky to live there. I scouted 111 but ended up scoring in the Moriah Wilderness, 214 or something.

Am returning for a deer hunt in 5 weeks, up in the Elko area.

Very well done HN! You should be very proud of that experience and fine muley. Now I really can't concentrate on work.
