My son Jed was given the 2012 Pathfinder award by Safari Club southern utah chapter. This award is given every year to a young hunter with a life threatening illness or disability. Here are some pics of his very successful hunts.
 
WOW - great animals. Congrats!! That bull is beautiful, especially his front end. Awesome deal!

Can you explain a little more about the 2012 Pathfinder award? - what is it and does it provide tags to hunt? Sounds like a cool program for sure.

The Pathfinder Award is to give these young hunters with illness or disability an experience of a lifetime that they might not otherwise experience. All three tags were a part of the award. Four members of SCI not only took Jed on these hunts but took the whole family. We came home from these hunts with not only trophies but memories and friends for life.
 
Great job Jed that is way awsome!Now thats the kinda stuff i like to here about.Thats what hunters are all about.

Well done Jed! I watched your video of your elk hunt and it looked like a fun time! And that was some great shooting! Just need you tell your camera man to settle down! :) Good job. Wished I could have been there!

That's fantastic! Congratulations to Jed, and to your family for being able to enjoy some quality hunts together for him. Also, THANKS to the good people who helped make those hunts possible for Jed.
 
Congrats Jed! Those are things that you and your family will always remember! Congrats as well to that organization that can see the bigger picture of what hunting is and should be all about. Thanks for sharing with us!
 
What a great experience for Jed and your Family. Great animals... I really love that Bull and that Speed Goat!!! You did an amazing job Jed! something to be proud of to be able to take all those great animals in a row like that. You must be a good shot! Congrates!!
