How many of you archers are watching a certain deer or group of deer and hoping that they are there on sat.

And how many of you are just going out to places you've heard about or that you've hunted in the past and are just hoping that there are deer were you're going.

for those who are watching some deer, just wondering what size of bucks are you hoping to get into on sat. i havent seen alot of big bucks just hoping that someone else are seeing them.

seen a few nice ones in my Elk hunting area. I'll probably be banned for this but Deer are a second to my elk hunt..

I have been doing some scouting but I have been unable to locate anything at all. So opening day my ol man, buddy and my boy's and I are going to go where we saw deer last year and start there. After that we will just have to wing it.

I hope everybody else has their sights set on a buck or two.
Good luck to all and shoot straight.

we've scouted and found the bucks we specifically want to go after. my buddy is chasing a 3 point, tons of mass and excellent G-3's but has no potential of ever becoming a 4 point. i've got a 160 (approx.) buck patterned out also. we don't hunt unless we know for a fact that the deer are there. more importantly, the big boys. i'm hoping to run into this non typical buck, he's only 2 years old and from my poor judging skills i'm guessing him at somewhere cose to 190. i want to let him spread those genetics around, but if given the opportunity i'll have to sliver him up good.

I would be willng to bet that there has never been a buck in history that will score 190 inces at only two years old.

A deer like that should be at least 4 years old or older

I'm seeing a few bucks that evaded us last year. There's one with an in-line that might go 180, but the others are smaller. Problem is there are 7 bucks in the main bunch and that makes for tough stalking.

There should be one buck that lived through last season that was 190, but I can't find him. But I'll ahve fun chasing some anyhow.

I don't believe there is a way to tell how old a deer is anyways, just from looking at it, unless of course it was this years fawn. But based on antler growth, I don't buy it.

It's Bush's fault!!!

A BUCK COULD EASILY SCORE 190 AT 3.5 YEARS BUT WOULD STRUGGLE MIGHTILY AT 2.5 TO GET ANYWHERE NEAR THAT NUMBER

My bro-in-law has been doing most of my scouting being that I will be hunting a few miles from his house. Hopefully he finds the big boy come september 1. Good luck to all.
