It's a long story, but my buddy had glaucoma surgery Tuesday and turned the one tag he had drawn in because he's not supposed to be recoiling the poor eyeball for several months. He gets a call two days later that he drew the big one and IDFG wants to know where to send his four tags. Are you kidding me!
Anyways, he wondered if any of you guys out there might have an idea on where an old, fat, blind guy (his words, not mine - I wouldn't bash my buddy like that) could go take a good animal without killing himself or messing up his eye surgery (I'm already starting to think he's not going to be a good patient)?
He's hunted ID for decades, but maybe one of you guys has a better idea he hasn't considered. He's all over the Unit 40 for elk, not sure he has any ideas for antelope, he'd like to get a moose close to the road for obvious reasons, and what are you opinions on all those late muley hunts along the south border? When it rains it pours I guess!!!
Thanks for any suggestions and hope everyone has a great year!
