Tough Swift scope!

I like to share my thoughts on equipment that serves me well. Here's a quick story about the Swift scope on my rifle.

Last season I was riding a horse into a hunt area when the horse lost its footing, threw me off, rolled over the top of me then rolled at least 3 more times down the hill before stopping. My rifle was hanging from the saddle in a soft-sided scabbard. Fortunately I was not seriously injured, and neither was the horse.

That was pretty much the end of my hunt, and I had not had a chance to fire my rifle since then, until today. Of course I figured my scope would be way off and need to be sighted in again, if it wasn't broken.

I was happy to discover that not only was it not broken, but the point of impact wasn't changed at all. I mounted this Swift 4-12 scope on my .30-06 7 years ago and haven't had to adjust it once since. I have to say I am impressed with its quality and durability.
