Wyo left over bull Pics

Well we did not draw our elk tags this year in Wyoming so we went with a leftover. It was a ton of fun and a bunch of work but it went down as a really great hunt. Sometimes the Limited entry units are way overrated up here in Wyo. Both of these bulls were harvested on public land on a unit that has leftover tags every year.

Two good looking bulls. Shows that you can be successful even in these overlooked public land hunts.

Congrats to the hunters.

I'm a resident, but even as a resident it can be hard to draw limited entry tags. It's a definite advantage because if we don't draw we will either hunt the general areas or like this just pick up a leftover from the draw.

Very nice bulls. Way to get it done

Can't beat that with a stick, leftover tags and a couple of nice bulls.

Thanks guys, I can't speak for all western states but I can tell you as far as Wyoming goes, if you know where to look you can find quality bulls in just about any unit up here. If it has a good population of elk, and a place or two for them to reach their age potential. Don?t wait your whole life to build bonus points, get out and hunt.
