This is a pic of my buck that i shot at 25 yards. He is a little over 26 wide and he is a 6x5. I shot him the first morning of my CO trip. I have not scored him but I think he is in the 170s somewhere. This is my second best archery buck of my life.

This is the buck my budy Jeff took. He is a real tall good 4 point. He was 24 wide and had good mass. He missed a couple of monsters so this buck was almost bitter sweet. He killed his buck at 30 yards.

This is a pic of my buddy Joe.(Jeffs brother) He shot this really nice 4 point on the last day we were hunting. He missed a really big buck that day that was close to 30 inches but still came home with a real good buck. This was his first archery mule deer too! Way to go Joe. His shot was 24 yards. He had to wait a long time for him to stand out of his bed and he made it count.

This is my buddy Matt walking back to the truck with Joes buck. We had to frame pack out 2 out of the 3 bucks killed. Joes buck died in some very nasty steep country but with enough guys it was not to bad.

Here is all the bucks lined up after the hunt. Matt did not fill but it was not for lack of effort. He passed on some big deer and had some horrible luck with arrow flight. Thats another story all in itself. This was a great hunt with great buds and such a great time i want to go back right now. We had such close calls with huge bucks just could not seal the deal. I guess that is why they call it hunting and not killing. Please no bad post just trying to share in our fun and hope U guys in MM land are having a good time with your hunts too!

Aaron, Great job! Looks like you guys had a great hunt. Thanks for posting the photos and sharing the stories with us.

Great bucks! I think you might be short-changing your buck, he looks bigger than 170's.

Congrats to all of the hunters in group and nice Bucks for sure, like the three lined up real nice pictures.

What Unit did you hunt in Colorado? Just wondering, cause I am going rifle hunting in 62, for mule deer in Oct. Looking forward to a fun hunt.

Great job. Looks like you guys cleaned house. They wouldn't be giving out many tags if every camp did that well. Those are some real nice bucks too.

Looks and sounds like you guys did a great hunt and had a great time, Their isn't nothing better then a backcountry hunt with good friends abd alot of good bucks, Hope you guys left a few good ones for next year.

Thanks guys for all the kind words. This was a public ground hunt and do it yourself type of hunt too. Had a awsome time and i cant wait to go back next year. As for the unit it is the one with trees and sage in the unit.U know!lol

Aaron, are you taking me next time or what??? Bring some more pictures into Bill's shop, I would like to see more. Great job. once again. You seem to be very successful no mater where you go. You need to bottle that!

I will for sure be in the shop struting my stuff around with the pics.lol. Now if i just had another good hunt to go on i might just have something to look forward to, but i dont so i am sure U feel bad for me.

Nice pictures! That middle picture looks like the tallest buck. Its too bad that Jeff was not able to kill the bigger ones that he shot at. Joe's buck looks like the widest buck and that is a great picture of a buck. Great job goes out to all 3 of you.

very nice, thanks for sharing, quite impressive to say the least on a great hunt.

Aaron,
If I am correct and there were 4 of you hunting and you got 3 great bucks flinging sticks I would consider that a awesome hunt. That's a 75% success rate on the deer and 150% success on the fun with your buddies and memories that last a lifetime.. Congrats to all of you. Thanks for sharing the photos and some of the details of your hunt.

Jim

It's obvious you guys have all your ducks in a row. Congratulations and great bucks.

What great hunt.Congrats to all of you. Looks like you guys have a pretty good area for deer. I sure wished I could see three bucks like those on the same hunt in mu unit.....Thanks for sharing it....
