Wasatch Early Rifle Tag!

Got lucky at the Expo with a wasatch early rifle tag. Its been over 10 years since I have hunted it. What should I expect?

you can expect a good time and a fun hunt with a good chance at a 300 inch bull with minimal work. If you put the effort into scouting and hunting hard a better bull is definatley doable. Good Luck!!

I have been lucky to have already harvested 4 bulls with a bow and one with a rifle. here is my largest to date, I got in AZ with Chad Rhoton.

Any chance I can find one Better?

One more question-

Does the expo tag affect the regular UT draw in anyway- as in can I still have a chance at drawing another tag even though the regs state that Non Residents can only draw one tag per year?

If you draw an Elk le Tag in the Draw and also have an elk tag from the expo....then you will have to choose which tag to keep and then you will have to turn the other
tag back in!

Are you saying I can only have 1 tag (either LE or OIL) as a NR in UT?

Or is it I can only have 1 bull elk tag in UT, but if I draw another species in the draw I can keep both tags as a Non Resident?

You could draw another species but not another bull elk tag. Buy an elk point and apply for anything else you want. Assuming your a N R. Congrats on your tag and good luck!
