wow i just saw 4 bucks, smallest was maybe 150 on the grass eating at an appartment complex....tried getting some video but wasnt able too. If i could hunt here in the springs i would have some awesome bucks, one already was rubbed a big about 28 inch, tall 4x5 Colorado makes me want to cry all these would be eating lead back in idaho.....i think i know where they are bedding so i am going to go try and get some almost daylight film of them.....have a good one all

stay out of the zoo!!! go for a hike and find some wild deer, you should say you would attempt to feed them some lead. You shoot too much like Dave......

not everyone can find deer alongside the road dead, and claim to shoot them, come to think of it every deer you have claimed to have killed recently has been with my deer slayer rifle and muzzleloader....give me a m16 and i am sure i can feed em some lead...

West side of town??? Just guessing but probably near Ft. Carson. If you like to take pics of urban mule deer check out the foothills near the AFA. Some pretty cool bucks in some of the neighborhoods up there.

Like i've told ya before If I didn't use them nothin' would ever get killed, I noticed in clint's utah whitetail post you admitted in has been so long since you have seen a buck you forgot what one looked like. I am headed over the 1st to kill another big buck in wyoming. I will let ya pet the mount of that one as well. Are you getting a either sex tag for elk in unit 4??

It was actually by quail lake. It really suprised me how close they are to people and how not scared they were. I am just gonna buy an over the counter tag probably. I havnt decided yet. I have to find a copy of my orders, and get my hunter education card so i can get my license.

I live here in the springs and have heard about the monsters on the west side and on the Academy. I have got a friend up there that has them in his backyard all the time. He tells me to bring my bow and take care of them.

yeah when i first moved here i didnt see any deer, i was happy when i seen a doe up by castlerock....then one day i was out screwing around just driving roads, i was less then 5 mins from carson, and i found a big group of bucks...its amazing that there are deer here this big....i had to go to that hot place in the sand so i wasnt able to look for them....hmmm i have seen some huge antelope bucks out by peterson plus my first turkeys here....love the place and the animals, hate most the people...

You must be hanging around the wrong people. IMO the Springs is a great community. I've only been here for a year and a half but I have no complaints. Met some unbelievable people. There are a lot of antelope out east but I've only seen a couple of quality bucks. If anyone in the area wants to do some photography, scouting or hunting let me know.
Peace,
