Colorado Parks and Wildlife is currently seeking comments regarding an elk management plan for the Cold Springs herd unit, Data Analysis Unit (DAU) E-1. The E-1 DAU Plan is a document that will guide elk management for Game Management Units (GMU) 2 and 201 for the next several years. The Cold Springs herd unit is a quality elk management unit located in the extreme northwest corner of Colorado. The comment period for this plan will be open for 30 days.
