I know its an archery buck but its been on boone and crocket clubs TROPHY WATCH for a couple of weeks now .They are stating the buck scores over 205 .

heard it was the beaver buck taken up in beaver creek by carlin nevada. all the miners who work out at barrick and newmont have pictures of it its a whopper of a buck

I believe Rusty Hall's (Trophy Hunter Editor) brother-in-law kill that beast. I can't remeber his brother-in-laws first name (SORRY!). Roberts is the last name. It is big!!!! Hopefully Rusty will get a photo and a tidbit of info. for the website. The story will almost certainly be in Trophy Hunter Magazine.

Great buck. I buy my archery stuff from his dad and uncle. They own Inventive Technology up there in Utah.

You also can't have a bow that's capable of more than 65% let off for P&Y, and most guys hunt with bows that don't qualify anyway. It can still make the Utah book. What really matters is the memory of shooting an awesome typical muley with a bow regardless of the equipment used.

If i am correct you can qualify with a bow over 65% letoff. All you get is an astric next to your name.

COarcher

You're right, that was allowed after Jan 1st 2004, and yes they will be listed with an asterix after their name. Brad knows that it can't be entered in P&Y but thats okay with him. He'll have it mounted on his wall to remind him of the excitement of the hunt for the rest of his life, and isn't that what hunting is all about anyway. Here's another picture of the buck.

Yes he could enter it in Boone & Crockett, but he would have to strip the velvet. At least thats how I understand the rules.
