Henry's Deer or Pahvant Elk

Just wondering if given the choice whether you would choose a Henry's Deer Tag or a Pahvant Elk Tag?

Personally i think it's tougher to get a big monster buck than it is a monster bull in Utah. There are several units (almost all the LE units) have 380" and better bulls in them now, but how many deer units have multiple chances at 200" and better bucks?

My vote is for the Henry's deer tag.
BTW- I have 11 points for deer, it's Henry's or bust for me!!

I think I would go with the Henry's deer tag also. I have taken some nice bulls, but a lot fewer big bucks...
And the chance of drawing that permit is a lot less likely..

Henrys for sure.

There is no greater trophy than a Monster Mule Deer! Elk are cool too and I think you have picked 2 of Utah's best.

Henrys for sure. There is a 400" bull under every tree in UT, just check out he posts on this site

I've also got 11 (or maybe 12?) deer point, they would be wasted on anything but the henrys at this point.

Well i think we all agree HENERYS but i think we all agree we wouldnt mind having a pavaunt tag maybe thats why non of us can draw

Hunted the Henrys last year, tried for late season Pahvant this year. I hope someday I could answer that question first hand. All I can say is the Henrys deer hunt is like a step back in time.I bet you can get buck fever on a monster bull too. oooh what a feeling. I guess thats why we all love to hunt.
