That may not be one of the biggest bucks posted on this site (score wise) this year, but honestly, that buck looks the best to me. I love that mass, rack and shape!! Awesome buck.

That's awesome! It's nice when a plan comes together!

very cool .You harvested an awesome buck .Score ,Who cares about the score .you have a very unique wall hanger .Congrats on a great buck

Trail, how old do you figue he was? Did he have any injuries to his left back leg or anything else that would make his beam split like that? Sweet buck man, probably not from the Cache ;-) Congrats again.

Uuuhh story???? I think you can put 2 and 2 together based on the before and after pictures and figure this one out. Just remember to pay special attention to the perfectly round green "rock" right under the bucks nose in the first picture........ Nevertheless, it's a great buck with incredible character. Congrats!

LAST EDITED ON Sep-28-07 AT 03:42PM (MST)[p]I suppose you're saying that it was baited.....well it wasn't....so think what you want....you weren't there and the people that were know how hard we worked for this buck....I'm extremely happy to have taken him 100% completely fair chase, which is enough for me.

Sorry Dax I meant to respond to you in that last post, but I was caught a little off guard and slightly bugged by that last post.....anyway, strangely enough his teeth were in really good condition so I'm not sure about his age. I would guess he was at least 6. His right side didn't look like it had ever been damaged, just weird genetics is my guess. His base was fine on that side too...and no not a Cache buck. I gave up on that last year after I backpacked for 6 days and didn't see anything better than a 2 year old three point..

Dude that is awesome, trail cam pics then a dead buck a few days later. Do you give class? Oh ya i still got your horns im getting pretty fond of them! They are in the front room you can walk n and get them any time! Or i we can store them here? Sweet buck

That is one beautiful buck.. If I ever shot one like that I would be hard pressed to best a buck like the one you got..
Congratulations..

Maybe it is a tennis ball? Nice buck.
