Sister's 07 Muzzleloader Hunt

Friday my sister couldnt get a baby sitter so I told her I'd go for a ride with her up the mountain just to get out of the house and she could bring my nephew because we wouldnt go out walking. We got up to the place we hunt and passed a few little bucks on the way in. Then we seen a group of deer feeding along the tree line that had a couple good bucks. We decided to get out and see if we could get her a shot. This buck was the last one in the group and when he came into a clearing he stopped and I told her to shoot. She hit him a little low and broke both front legs. I watched him run a ways and stop so we went back to the pickup and got Kaden, her little boy, and reloaded, and went after him. I carried Kaden up through there and we jumped that buck when we were looking for blood. She put him down after a couple shots and her hunt was over.

I'm not a big fan of driving around hunting but we made the best of our situation and my little nephew got to go on his first buck hunt!

Great buck! Tell her congrats! Nothing like hunting with the kidies! Last year I shot my buck with my 3 kids and my sons boy with me! What a sight! Great job taking the youngster hunting! You will never regret that!
