Wanted- Last Minute Muley Hunt-

I along with a buddy are looking for a last minute, top end muley hunt, if such a thing exists. If any of you know an outfitter or private ranch that still has a couple of openings or cancellations please p.m. me. We thought about Sonora but in the end decided we would rather hunt in the mountains if at all possible. Any help is appreciated.

Idaho is full of mountains. There are mature bucks in those mountains. The tags are over the counter; it's just physically hard work.

Try the area immediately south of Palisades reservoir. Get at least two horizontal miles from the nearest road. Take a bear tag, too. Time it right and you can hunt both deer and elk.

I took a 187 last year. He was standing with a twin. I'll get him this year.

I guess "top end" means different things to different people, but the deer are there and the scenery is there...elk and bears, too.
