We glassed up this buck napping mid-day. Couldn't tell what he was other than he had a heavy and tall frame. We stalked in 4-500 yards on hands and knees over cactus and rocks and got to about 40-45 yards and the buck had no idea we were there. Bro had had some serious gun promlems and a couple misses already so he(Knight Revolution ML) had very little confidence in the rifle. When this gimme shot presented itself he took it. The buck was a warrior and took three shots (2 of them perfect) before running over 400 yards and dying out in the middle of a stock pond. Was an interesting old buck. HUGE body, white, face, sway back ,pot belly, and hardly any teeth left. A good one to take out. Little bro was stoked!
