LAST EDITED ON Oct-05-07 AT 09:39PM (MST)[p]Sorry for the crummy pics guys.They came from my cell phone.I am not good at these pics.My bro and I hiked in 3 miles yesterday only to come up short of the supplies we had put at the top last spring as we got a late start and knew we would not beat daylight and there was also a storm coming in.What a big disappointment the walk down was.We decided to hunt opening morning close to home and I decided I would shoot the first decent buck I seen as I am going on my bros cow elk hunt next weekend.I know he is not a monster,but I am glad to have put a tag on another Nevada buck.This was my first rifle tag in 7 years.Good luck to all in this years hunt.

The snow hit this morning here in town.We had snow all morning.There was a good 4" where we were at.Maybe our late start on top yesterday was a blessing.I am leaving at 4 o'clock in the morning to go back and hunt with my bro,my bro-in law and 3 other people that have tags in the area.I know we are going to see good bucks,but I was already ready to pull the trigger on the one I did.As luck has it,I will probably see a booker really close to me tommorrow.

Ahh... What's wrong with that buck? I would be doing handstands to bag a buck like that.
