Which Nevada unit for 2008?

If you had 9 bonus points for deer which unit in Nevada would you apply for in 2008? I normally apply for the northwest corner, but have heard and seen that it isn't near what it used to be. Thanks.

If i was you i would put in For the 111 Muzzleloader tag or Archery or Late Rifle, Then The 221-222 Muzzleloader tag or Late Rifle tag...both are great tags and have seen some hawgs this year in both units and plus if you draw i would be more that happy to help you out with your hunt. my e-mail is [email protected]

The NW corner big buck rumors seem to go through 2-3 year cycles, hunter word of mouth/weather is probably being the biggest varible from year to year. They are there, though few and far between. I'd stil go for a late tag if you had a week off, and some patience.

231 is currently producing the biggest bucks in the state. area 221-223 is hard to pass up but it is all wilderness so keep that in mind.

There are no big bucks in Nevada. Only rumors and hearsay.

I know there are big bucks in every unit, but from what I have seen and heard 011-013 is not what it was a few years ago. Even people hunting in 033 the past couple of years were complaining about the quality. I know a lot of it has to do with weather and the hunters. We will see how this year goes. I have a lot of time to decide what units to apply for.
