LAST EDITED ON Oct-12-07 AT 02:41PM (MST)[p]here is my best buck to date! He is an 8 x 8 with a 28 1/2 inch inside spread! This was the last buck I was able to hunt whit my father! I will always remeber the details! He was hot on a doe and not paying attention! 200 yards later and a big bang, he was mine! my father was trying to record from about 400 yards away, but was unable to capture the shot on film! guys, I would be curious what your guess would be on his gross score!

Thats a great buck , he has big deep forks. Pics are so hard to judge and put a score on , but that buck looks to have a 180 frame and I think he will score in there somewhere. Nice buck , did you have him mounted?...Thanks for sharing it ...He's a beauty...

+1 on the 180 frame. Looks like 8-10 inches of extras = 190 ish. Really nice buck!

I think you're getting shorted on some of your replies. I'm going to go higher, based on gross score. I have a 9x7, 30" wide that I had scored by an official scorer earlier this year and came back at 212 4/8" gross. compare your buck to mine. I think you're looking at over 200".

I know it's not really comparing apples to apples but gives you an idea...

Thanks for your comments! this buck was killed in November a few years ago--2005 season on public land! He came out to feed & chase the does right before dark on November 5th! My other two bucks since that season are on my other post I just put up! 2007-2006 Deer! I love chasing big muleys in the high country! High Country usually means Low numbers of hunters! Thanks guys,
