All I can say is WOW! What a stud. Southy10 was right I think there will be a lot of people on here eating crow!

Is that the one I was scolded for saying 340-350 when it was really a 300?? Best freaking looking 300 inch bull I have ever seen :)

Guess I was a little off on the 340-350 lol. Way to find him, keep after him and get it done!!!

Wow.... Nice bull!

How did you hunt him? water hole? spot and stalk? or call?

Lets hear the story!

I hope y'all come on here and take yer helping of crow! Sweet bull! Thanks for sharing.
Now tell the story!:)

Congratulations! Way to get 'er done!

I think there are a couple of us who have some "history" with that bull. It's great to see you get him on the ground. Any guy who kills an elk with a bow EARNS it! You guys paid the price and you were rewarded with a helluva bull. Well done!

The first time I saw him on the mountain I wasn't thinking 300" bull either!

Best,
Zeke

Awesome bull! Way to get it done with a bow! Once in a lifetime! Hopefully you put a story together for all of us to enjoy!

TOPGUN....... better come on here and eat crow! here are his own words "I just didn't feel he'd hit 350. Go shoot him when the season opens and if he does hit 340-350 I'll gladly eat crow!"

LNC, Congrats. He is an awesome bull. A few of us have been watching him for years. Its bitter sweet that he won't be back on the winter range but knowing he was taken during the archery hunt and not that late november hunt just makes your story even better. Was Wade there with you? Btw, we have 6 full sets of sheds from your bull. Maybe one of these days we can put em together for pics.

Also, please post the story! That bull has been pretty elusive to many hunters over the past few years 2010 was the closest he came in my oppinion with Adam hunting him.
I don't believe he was wounded last year.

Outstanding !!!

Wish I had seen the "what will he score" thread. Everyone on here are a bunch of low ballers these days :)

Congrats,
Pete

Nice work and beautiful bull! I think browtine is right. I think that is the same bull from the 2010 video. I have been wondering if he was still alive!

3rds and 5ths always make a Pig bull vs a dang good bull with dink 3rds and 5ths...

You did great!

congrats

Meh.....only looks 330 to me! haha Heck of a bull buddy! Have not talked to you forever! Crazy to see you on here with a stud bull! Congrats!

Congrats on a great bull. I was going to chase him last year with my tag but ended up after another bull. I was watching him with a friend with the rifle tag this year, again congrats on a great bull.

oh Jebediah (aka elder smith) you don't have photos of this elk!! If you disagree post them.

WOW, what a bull! Love those swooping 3rds. Congrats and let's hear the story already!

I don't see the devil point in your pic? If he does, I have some live video of him.

TOPGUN must be on vacation because he has not been on this post to take his eating of CROW!

Congrats Lane. That is one stud of a bull. You did awesome. I was up with my friend Cody (I think you were talking to him shortly before you killed your bull) in that same general area later in the hunt and we saw a bull that looks like this bull's twin from the front. Big wide sweeping 3rds, long beams, and just a stud bull. One of the biggest elk I have seen in a while. The Wasatch aint that shabby.

Congrats on an absolute Giant.
